When should we arrive & depart?

Answer

We recommend arriving by January 16th and staying until January 19th to enjoy all the festivities! If you would like to extend your vacation, the group rate applies from January 13-21. You can use the hotel link under the 'Travel' tab to book your preferred dates.

Can we stay at another resort?

Answer

Of course! You will still be able to partake in the wedding night festivities at the Secrets Resort on Jan 18. Please just let us know, so we can let the resort know to get you a day pass.

What events can we attend?

Everyone is welcome to attend all events. Please use the 'RSVP' tab so the resort can plan accordingly!

Do I need a valid passport/visa?

Answer

Yes. You will need a passport valid for at least 30 days beyond your intended stay. The current turnaround time for a US passport is approximately 4-6 weeks.

What's the local currency & language?

Answer

The official currency of Costa Rica is the Colón, however many places accept the US dollar. The native language is Spanish.

What's the weather like?

January is the dry season with temperatures ranging from 70-95 degreed Fahrenheit.

What should I pack?

Answer

It will likely be very warm temperatures. Pack sandals, swimwear, casual dresses, sunscreen, & bug spray. Anything you're comfortable in!

Are you registered anywhere?

Not at all—there will be absolutely no gifts! Whether you're able to join us in Costa Rica or celebrate from afar, we're simply grateful to have such amazing friends and family.
