What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

We’d love our guests to join us in formal attire to help make the celebration feel extra special. For men a grey, navy or black suit and tie works great. For women, this could mean a floor length dress, midi dress, tea length dress or dressy jumpsuit. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in while celebrating with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation or say “and guest” are included. Thank you for understanding!

Is this a child free event?

Answer

With love, we’ve chosen to invite a few special children to be part of our day. We kindly ask that all other little ones stay home so the grown-ups can fully relax and celebrate with us.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for details on our hotel block at the Mayfair house. (Discount Code 3857824) The hotel recommends securing your room as soon as possible (by September 1st) as the Mayfair house is a high demand hotel in the heart of downtown Coconut Grove. Rooms are on a first come first serve basis with a limited number available.

Will there be a welcome party?

Answer

Yes! On Friday once our guests settle in, we will be gathering on the rooftop of the Mayfair House at 7:30pm for beer and wine. The Sipsip Rum bar is all about Carribean tropical vibes, feel free to dress the part in colorful or tropical vacation attire!

Will I need a car or uber while staying at the Mayfair House?

Answer

Guests staying at the Mayfair House won’t find a need for transportation, everything you need is right outside your door. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, cafés, bars, and boutique shops, all within easy walking distance. If you are looking to branch outside of Coconut Grove, Miami neighborhoods such as South Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Wynwood etc. are about a 15 minute uber away.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. Guests are requested to arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.
