Question

Can I leave my car at the venue?

Answer

No. Vehicles are not permitted to be left over night at the venue, as they book events every day of the weekend! For those planning to partake in alcoholic beverages, please plan to ride the shuttle from the Holiday Inn Express parking lot to and from the event.

Question

Will you have transportation?

Answer

Shuttle Bus info: To travel to the venue for the celebration, there will be 2 bus trips. The bus will be arriving at the Holiday Inn Express at 2:30pm. The first trip of guests will leave for the venue at 2:40pm. The second bus trip to the venue will be leaving the hotel at 3:05pm. This will ensure that all guests arrive in time for the 3:30pm ceremony time. Following the event, there will be 2 bus trips to return to the Holiday Inn Express. The first trip will leave at 9pm from the parking lot at the venue. The second trip will leave for the hotel at 9:30pm. To clarify, the bar will close at 8:45pm and the reception will end at 9pm. The final bus trip is scheduled for 9:30pm to allow time for collection of decorations and breakdown. Anyone willing to help with this process please text Kate :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrivals at the wedding venue are between 3:00pm-3:15pm. Follow the gravel walk way from the parking lot to the back of the building. You will see the ceremony seating set up near the pond in the distance! Ceremony will begin at 3:30pm.

Question

Will festivities be inside or outside?

Answer

**UPDATE as of 11/6- Ceremony will be outside weather permitting. So please bring jackets. Cocktail hour is also indoor/outdoor. Dinner/dancing will be indoors** One of the many joys of western Pennsylvania is you never know what weather you will get the first weekend or two of November. With this being said, our goal is to have as much of the day outside as possible. We will be keeping an eye on the weather, but please plan to dress accordingly to accommodate the temperature outdoors. If dreams can come true, the ceremony and dancing will all take place in an outdoor setting.

Question

What is the bar situation?

Answer

Libations will be distributed from an open bar (with cash tip of course)! We will supply beer and wine selections. Additionally we will have vodka, gin, bourbon and whiskey, along with their associated mixers.

Question

Are there any plans after the wedding?

Answer

For those that still have fuel in their party tank at the close of the wedding, you are welcome to join us in the hotel Holiday Inn Express lobby. Join us for some mingling and light snacks. BYOB.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Formal invites will go out 9/1/25! Please be sure to scan the QR code on your invitation and complete your RSVP online. We ask that you respond by 10/1/25.

Question

What about gifts?

Answer

We are registered on Zola and Target. Please reference the registry tab on the website to access links and more information. We will be sure to have a dedicated space at the venue for gifts/cards the day of the celebration.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invitation for specific details about plus-ones (ie. Whomever is included on your envelope, is invited to the wedding). We've limited the guest list to ensure we have enough space, so we appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are children included in my invitation?

Answer

We are so lucky to have a small army of AMAZING children in our life! While we wish they could all come, we are unable to have them join our big day. So for all our fabulous guests who are in mom and dad mode, please plan for childcare accordingly (insert sunglasses emoji face here).

Question

Is there anything happening the night prior to the wedding?

Answer

For those that may be staying both Friday and Saturday night at the hotel, we invite you to join us for an evening of mingling with family and friends. It's not every day that we can all be together, so let's maximize our time!! We will be at Cobblehaus At The Falls (1015 Leesburg Station Road, Mercer, PA 16137). We will have the pavilion rented for our group. Simply follow the gravel walk way that wraps around the building. This location has food trucks, live entertainment, a water fall, and of course beer. This is nothing formal, so come as you are for a causal knee slapping good time!

Question

What's the deal with the food?!

Answer

Our venue started out as a catering company, so they take pride in feeding their guests. We will be offering charcuterie during cocktail hour. Dinner will be served family style, and will be cooked right on premises so it will be SUPER fresh and delish. The kitchen will prepare enough for each guest to have 1 of each of the proteins we selected, as well as servings of the side dishes. For those with a sweet tooth we will be having the good old fashioned Pittsburgh cookie table. Don't look around for cake because it won't be there ;). Be sure to pack your own to-go box of cookies to take with you for the hotel after the reception.

Question

Do you want me to snap some shots for you during your ceremony?

Answer

This may seem silly to include but we want everyone to be as present as possible! With that being said, please keep your phones away during the ceremony.! Let’s leave the photographers to snap the pics during the nuptials, so we can all enjoy the festivities together.
