Flight

San Francisco (SFO)

This is the best place to fly into if you want to see SF! It's about an hour and fifteen/thirty minutes to Davis from the city. Oakland and San Jose are also options if it's easier for you!

Flight

Sacramento (SMF)

Sacramento is smaller (and can be pricer). If you are okay with missing SF, the Sacramento (SMF) airport is about 20 minutes from Davis.

Adding on SF

***Fly into/out of SFO and uber/lyft to your hotel*** Do not rent a car until you're ready to leave SF (parking is tricky and smash-and-grabs are too common) Would recommend "ubering" to and booking through Enterprise in their Richmond District location (linked below) on the way out of SF Neighborhoods to stay in: Marina, Presidio, Nob Hill, Richmond/Sunset, Fisherman’s Wharf Neighborhoods to NOT stay in: “lower” Nob Hill, Tenderloin Day 1: - Crissy Field/GG bridge 🌁, - Lombard Street, Painted Ladies 🏘 - Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square đŸ« , Ferry Building - Recommend renting zip car 🏎 or scooters đŸ›” Day 2: - Golden Gate Park (rent bikes! đŸšČ ) and ride to Ocean Beach 🏝 đŸŒ«or check out museums/botanical gardens in the park - Check out the Presidio Add-ons in SF - Alcatraz (half-day at least with ferry times) - Giant’s game âšŸïžđŸ§ĄđŸ–€
