Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is free self-parking in the Gem garage (1901 Brush Street). Please use the QR code included with your invitation. No valet available.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire. We suggest men wear a suit in any color and women wear floor-length dresses, cocktails dresses or dressy pantsuits. The bridesmaids will be wearing eucalyptus green.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Traffic to downtown Detroit can vary based on local events, so we'd recommend leaving early and getting to the ceremony by 4:30 pm. We will have pre-ceremony drinks available.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoor. Cocktail hour will be both indoor/outdoor.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle that will take guests to Gem Theatre from the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel at 4 and 4:30 pm. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your chosen departure time on Michigan Avenue. Shuttle service will depart from Gem Theatre back to the hotel at 11 pm and will run continuously until 12 am.
