The dress code for our wedding is Cocktail Attire. We want everyone to look nice, but be comfortable. We request no jeans or shorts.
Listen, St. Louis weather is unpredictable - being at the end of September we are hoping for a nice 70 degree day and a clear night. However, as we know St. Louis weather has a mind of its own, so it may be warmer than expected. Please note the venue is on a rooftop of a building - dance floor is open air. In the case of rain, we will move inside the building for dancing.
The ceremony and dancing will likely be outdoors. The dinner portion of the reception will be indoors. If there is inclement weather, we will be able to move all portions of the event indoors.
From Illinois - Take 44 West Bound to Exit 289 Jefferson Avenue. Take a Left onto Jefferson Ave. Continue on Jefferson for 0.8 miles. The venue will be to your left. From Missouri - ake 44 East Bound to Exit 289 Jefferson Avenue. Take a Right onto Jefferson Ave. Continue on Jefferson for 0.8 miles. The venue will be to your left.
We both come from big families, and while we would love for all of the kids in the family to be there, we had to cap our weddings to our immediate first cousins. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so that you can relax and enjoy celebrating with us!
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. There is a freight elevator that will be in use for the event. Once you arrive and park, there will be an attendant on duty directing people upstairs. There are stairs up to the third floor rooftop as well.
