The Boat House & Tavern on the Green are two of our favorite restaurants located in central park! Sheep Meadow & The Great Lawn are great spaces to relax and picnic. Central Park Zoo is a great place to take the kids! The Ramble is our NYC version of a nature hike. If you make it through check out the Belvedere Castle, on the banks of Turtle Pond. At the northern end of the park you will find the beautiful Conservatory Gardens & the Butterfly Gardens.
The Highline is an elevated walking path above the streets, spanning about 25 blocks from midtown's Hudson Yards to the Meat Packing district. Formerly an NYC railway, it has been converted into a scenic park above the Hudson River. You can get on and off at many different points; it's a great way to explore all the restaurants, shops, and bars on Manhattans west side, including Chelsea Market, Little Island, the Highline Hotel, and ending at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
We will be hanging out here the next day! There is a large outdoor space just a short walk from the venue. Kid and pet friendly.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant nearby the venue! Great tacos and margs!
