Dock Square
Dock Square is the quaint downtown of Kennebunkport. There are so many cute shops and delicious restaurants here serving up Maine specials including lobster and New England clam chowder. It's only about a mile from the beach and can be quite busy during the summer with locals and tourists alike! A really fun time to walk around.
The Pilot House
A local favorite. Closest thing to a dive bar you'll find in Dock Square. Boat engines hang from the ceilings and live music often on the patio. Good food, cheap drinks! What's not to love?
Gooch's Beach
Yeah, you read that right. lol Best local beach for general beach activities. Locals and tourists aplenty. About a mile to dock square.
Portland
You guys, [the other] Portland is cool. No really. There are SO MANY bars, restaurants, and breweries it'll make your head spin. The food is really really good. It's not an enormous city but you could easily spend multiple days here and not get bored.
Portland Head Light/Fort Williams Park
Your classic Maine lighthouse. Really pretty park, plenty of photo-ops or places to have a picnic. Not far from Portland.
Arcadia National Bar
Portland's resident bar-cade. Small, but really fun. Great drinks.
Peaks Island
If you do somehow get bored in Portland, hop on over to Peaks! You can catch a ferry right from downtown Portland and be there in only 17 minutes. Once you're there you can rent bikes and ride around the island or post up on a patio overlooking the water sipping dranks.
