What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at Waldenwoods 15-20 minutes prior to the start as the ceremony space is a short walk down to the lake from the parking lots.

When I enter Waldenwoods, where should I go?

Answer

When you enter Waldenwoods, there will be signs to direct you to the lakeview tent and ceremony site. Our wedding is NOT being held at the lodge, but if you do find yourself there, please tell the other bride and groom "congrats". There will be an individual at the kiosk station when you enter to provide further directions.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Semi-formal: cocktail dresses and jumpsuits, suits and ties, etc. If you choose to wear heels, please consider a larger block heel as the ceremony space is in a grassy area.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place lakeside as long as it is not raining. If it is raining, the ceremony will take place in the lakeview tent (where the reception is being held). Cocktail hour and the reception will be held in the lakeview tent which is a short walk from the ceremony site. *If it is a rainy day, plan to bring an umbrella as there will be an exposed walk from the parking lots to the tent. Limited umbrellas will be onsite.

Is parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available. If the first lot fills directly in front of the lakeview tent, there are additional lots that guests can use. We ask that households try their best to drive together to ensure everyone can park as close as possible.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

A block of rooms have been reserved at the Hampton Inn of Howell and Best Western of Heartland under "Nolan/Bohn Wedding".
