Bride
Probably at the gym, a dirty martini's #1 fan, a true redhead
Groom
Sports and chess fanatic, loves an IPA, truly that tan (to his bride's dismay)
Matron of Honor
The bride's bestie since 4th grade - loyal, hilarious, strong-willed, and the perfect example of the kind of friend, wife and mother Colleen aspires to be. Their friendship has stood the test of time, distance (from down the street to 18 hours away), and planning 2 weddings within 18 months as each other's MOHs.
Best Man
The brother of the groom, the son of the groom's mother and father, top 5 brother the groom has ever had. Wil (yes with one L) has always looked up to the groom throughout life and continues to rely on his wisdom and courage. If Wil is gone at any point throughout the wedding, there is a greater than zero chance he is in the back playing League of Legends.
Bridesmaid
The bride's first "college friend," who was there every step of the way through their fateful freshman year first semester at UTK, and has been there every step of the way ever since. Adventurous, independent, and intelligent are just a few words to describe Jade. May or may not be the friend who needed water the night our bride and groom met!
Groomsman
Cullen, Culley Boy Cash, C-Money. The groom's next door neighbor growing up and originally deemed a bad influence. But he is a proper lad. Cullen once said "Run it for my city, my crew staying with me." But he didn't just say it, he lived by those words. When he's not running the city, he's probably in the back playing League of Legends with Wil.
Bridesmaid
Made the jump from senior year of high school to college with the bride! From Collierville, to Knoxville, all the way to Detroit, Nina has been home for the bride and a constant shoulder to lean on. She always finds a way to make Colleen laugh and inspires her to make the most out of every situation, to take the day trips, and to try every food possible!
Groomsman
Two letters to describe Karl - KA (Killer Attitude). Although he's tall and fairly athletic, he has never bested the groom in a competition of any kind. But his KA keeps his head held high and in the game. If Karl is bothering you at the wedding, just ask him if he would like to shotgun a beer. Also, do not hand this man the mic.
Bridesmaid
Another friend who made the leap from high school to college to post-grad life - Kendall and Colleen grew close through Nina. The brightest smile in every room, Kendall's energy and laugh is contagious and she makes even the most gloomy days a bit brighter!
Groomsman
Mark was the groom's college roommate for 3 years and is the groom's favorite diabetic. Mark is a very caring individual, always providing gum for his friends and saying "who" when you began to tell a story, showing how interested he was. He even once went out of his way to get a 2nd fridge for their first apartment. But perhaps the best memory of Mark is when he visited Texas for like an hour before his wife fell ill and left. Memories last forever, but a friend like Mark also lasts forever.
Bridesmaid
The bride's #1 in Texas who has quickly become home away from home - Emma approached Colleen at the gym and they became instant friends. Emma is the kind of friend who is always there to listen, to rant, to go on a coffee walk, to make healthy buffalo chicken dip for football weekends, to explore TX, and to support through every high and low.
Officiant
Brother of the Bride Growing up, Jack taught Colleen plenty of things, the most important lessons being how to take a joke and the art of sarcasm. Outside of that, Jack was an example of empathy, the pursuit of knowledge, being versatile, and chasing passion and joy in life. The way he and his wife, Sam, operate as best friends first has helped shape the couple’s mindset as they prepare for marriage. We are so excited to have him officiate our wedding!
