We're getting married!

Ian and Brittany met ice skating with mutual friends. It wasn't long after, they met up in Ocean City, NJ on Brittany's family beach trip. After spending all day on the beach, they went to the boardwalk and went on some rides at Wonderland. On a roller coaster Ian asked Brittany to go out and that's where their love story began. Ian and Brittany went to different high schools but spent as much time as possible together. Weekends at the movies, summers down the shore, or just hanging out watching TV. Eventually Ian and Brittany both attended Drexel University. Ian went for engineering and Brittany went for nursing. They both graduated and moved in together. That's when they got their kitties Lily and Daisy! Then one weekend in March, Ian asked Brittany if she wanted to go to brunch. They woke up early one Sunday morning and surprisingly to Brittany, Ian was dressed and ready before Brittany was out of bed. Not thinking too far into how strange that was, once they were ready to leave Ian insisted they walk down Kelly drive from Fairmount to East Falls. It was a little cold, but Brittany decided to power through it since this was all Ian's idea. Once arrived at East Falls, the intended brunch place was found to be closed. Meanwhile Brittany was freezing and would stop anywhere just to get warm. To her delight she found a little place called Le Bus. They entered the restaurant and it was so busy they decided to eat at the bar. Ian barely ate. While this isn't too unusual for breakfast, it was considering he walked all the way there. After brunch, Ian insisted they walk by the river to get some air. While sitting on the steps, Ian suddenly pulled out a box and attempted to get on one knee while on stairs leading into the water. He was successful and asked Brittany to marry him! And of course she said yes! It was personal, sweet, and exactly what Brittany had always dreamed of. Later they went to dinner at Parc and celebrated their engagement a month later vacationing in San Francisco!
