Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you can join us by January 31, 2026.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 1:30–1:45 PM so we may begin the ceremony promptly at 2:00.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: Two parking lots are available; one next to the parish hall and one directly across from the church. Reception: A large parking lot is available at the venue. Both locations are open to the public.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! You are welcome to bring a guest. Please be sure to register both you and your guest on the RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! Please provide the total number of children in your party when RSVPing so we can plan appropriately. If any children have dietary restrictions, kindly let us know at that time as well.

Question

What is the reception like?

Answer

The reception follows the ceremony and runs until 9:00 PM at Fern Creek Community Center. Dinner, refreshments, and snacks will be provided, along with music, dancing, and celebration. We can't wait to party together!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress respectfully for the church ceremony. We encourage semi-formal or formal attire that is modest and appropriate for a Catholic Mass. Wear your Sunday best!

Question

Is this a Christian wedding?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding is a Catholic Christian ceremony celebrated within the Church, centered on the Sacrament of Matrimony and the presence of Christ in the Mass.

Question

I am not Catholic or not religious—can I still come?

Answer

Yes! We would be delighted to have you celebrate with us. While the ceremony is a Catholic Mass, all guests are welcome to attend, observe, and pray as they feel comfortable. If you are not receiving Communion, you are warmly invited to remain seated in prayer or come forward for a blessing. Don't forget to party with us after the wedding!

Question

What is the Eucharist and why can’t I receive it?

Answer

The Eucharist (Holy Communion) is the Body and Blood of Christ, offered during a Catholic Mass. It is reserved for practicing Catholics in good standing with the Church. All guests are warmly invited to remain seated in prayer or come forward for a blessing if they are not receiving Communion. We ask that you kindly respect the Church's beliefs throughout the ceremony and encourage as much participation as comfortable.
