Cassie (from Dover, TN) and Ian (from Franklin, TN) grew up only a couple of hours apart, but it wasn’t until the Taekwondo community brought them together that their paths truly crossed. In 2023, while both were in England, their friendship turned into something more, and their journey as a couple began. Their love story has been filled with adventure, victories, and shared dreams. In the same year, both Cassie and Ian celebrated major milestones in Taekwondo—winning national championship titles in the United States while also competing (and winning!) in Europe. Their dedication to the sport not only fueled their passion but gave them countless memories side by side. Two years later, in 2025, their journey took them back to Europe, where Ian earned another incredible win in Taekwondo. From there, the trip turned unforgettable when they traveled to Paris. Under the lights of the city of love, Ian asked Cassie to spend forever with him. She said yes! When they’re not competing, Cassie and Ian enjoy the simple joys of life—fishing by the water, watching movies together, and (sometimes loudly) cheering for their favorite sports teams. Though it’s a “house divided” between her St. Louis Cardinals and his Chicago Cubs, their love is always on the same team. From Tennessee to England, from championship mats to the Eiffel Tower, Cassie and Ian’s story is proof that God’s timing is perfect—and that true love is worth the journey.
