This is one of our favorite restaurants to have West African cuisine. We first went here for our 2 year anniversary and then again on Valentine’s Day!
La Pollera Colombiana Restaurant
We revisit this place a lot when we want to go out to eat with friends. For the price, you get sooooo much food, even the dinner for two can feed four people! We love coming here! (The empanadas are a MUST try)
Geeks Mania Arcade
Ian and I love to go to arcades together. We are so close to have visited all the arcades in town! This one is a classic arcade with lots of old school games and we love it here because you only pay your entrance fee and then you’re free to play all the games you want for as long as you want! No tokens or cards needed
Olbrich Botanical Gardens
As you can tell, flowers are my muse. We always enjoy visiting the outdoor olbrich gardens and seeing the beautiful plants and flowers. May is the perfect month to visit! And make sure to take lots of pictures 🌸
Global Market and Food Hall
This place is our comfort spot. We love to eat here, shop here, and even just spend time looking around. Check out the food market on the right side to find a wide selection of produce, snacks, drinks, and houseware; then walk around the food court on the left side and you’ll see lots of yummy food options for Asian cuisine, and one of my favorite gift shops there too! It’s a cool place to spend your afternoon
Henry Vilas Zoo
We go here quite often, we love the animals and the fact that it’s free for the community! Ian’s favorite are the otters and it’s hard for me to pick a favorite but I really love to see the monkeys, tigers and the brown bears
