Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire: Midi- or knee-length cocktail dress, fancy jumpsuit, dressy separates, dark suit or jacket and slacks (tie optional).

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors under a pavilion a very short walk from the main building. Cocktail hour will be held on an outdoor deck or an indoor bar in the case of inclement weather. The reception and after party will be held indoors.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please note this will be an adults-only celebration.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! A variety of wine, beer, liquor, and soft drinks will be served at cocktail hour and the reception. The after party at Evolution Night Club will be cash bar only.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. We will end the evening with cupcakes and coffee.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please indicate any food allergies or special food requests when you complete your RSVP online and we will do our best to accommodate!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking available at The Woodlands Inn, where all wedding events will be held.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the airport and local attractions?

Answer

Yes, The Woodlands Inn offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton airport available 24 hours per day. Call 570-824-9831 to pre-arrange this transportation at least 24 hours in advance of arrival or departure time. The Woodlands Inn also provides a free shuttle to and from the Mohegan Pennsylvania (casino, restaurants, shopping, spa, entertainment venue, etc.) on Friday and Saturday 3:00pm through 1:45am.
