Ian and Meagan met at a work event in Idaho. At the time, Meagan was living in Pittsburgh, so she flew home that next weekend after their first meeting. They had a mutual curiosity for one another, and kept the communication open for the next few months as they got to know one another. On a whim, Meagan invited Ian to a wedding in Michigan - much to Meagan's surprise, Ian accepted the invitation. On this 'wedding first date' Ian met most of Meagan's friends during the trip to Michigan, and over the next few years these friends and family grew to become Ian's friends as well. In the wake of COVID-19 Ian, Meagan, and Madden (their trusty, furry sidekick) made the executive decision to purchase an RV to travel the country instead of quarantining at home. Exploring the great western half of the United States brought opportunities that they had not anticipated. Making new friends and exploring most of the US National Parks allowed for the ultimate connection to each other, and the world in a deeper sense. Their love for the mountains created an opportunity for them to hold the wedding in the great state of Idaho. The Wood River Valley is where Ian was born and raised. This area holds a special place for both Meagan and Ian and they look forward to sharing this gem with all who have not experienced the Wood River Valley.
