No. However, we are requiring that ALL of our guests, regardless of vaccination status, produce a negative test result within 2 days of the event. The results can be sent to us via text or email. This precaution is to ensure that everyone attending can continue to stay safe and healthy! Thank you for respecting our wishes.
No. Once you receive your paper Save The Date in the mail, that's all the paper you'll be getting from us! In an effort to keep our wedding in line with our sustainability values, we have elected not to do paper invitations and ask that all of our guests use the link provided on our Save The Date to RSVP to our wedding.
Yes, and No. There is a small parking lot at the venue that will be reserved for us & a handful of our immediate family and friends. We kindly ask that the remainder of our guests plan on finding street parking OR make plans to take a ride share to/from our reception. Both Uber and Lyft are readily available in Boston. If you elect to drive to/from the reception and use street parking, be sure to read the street signs so that you can avoid getting a ticket or getting towed! Be sure to factor in travel time on your way to our reception- Friday night rush hour in Boston can be a doozy.
No- we've decided not to invite any children under the age of 10 to our wedding, so that any adults attending can let loose and have fun!
YUMMY food. We would describe it as (from our past amazing experiences there) unique, spanish-inspired dishes. Here's what La Brasa says about their food on their website: "The La Brasa menu rotates constantly with the seasons and availability of meat, produce and dairy sourced from New England-based farms and purveyors. The style of cuisine draws on cultural influences of our own heritages and those of the East Somerville neighborhood. Our signature feasts feature whole-roasted animals and a bounty of creative salads, sides, “street foods,” and desserts."
