FAQs

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at Lia’s family home on Lake St. Clair in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors so please plan accordingly.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We have chosen a cocktail attire dress code to add a touch of elegance to our special day. We want everyone to look and feel their best while enjoying the celebration. If you’re unsure about an outfit, aim for something stylish and semi-formal. *Some areas will take place on grass. The bridal party will be in tones of blues and greens.

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.

Question

What accommodations are available for out of town guests?

Answer

We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we're arranging room blocks at a Detroit Hotel. You can find more information on accommodations, including booking codes and special rates, on our website's "Travel" page. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance or recommendations!

Question

Will transportation be available to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle service from the Detroit hotel to the St. Clair Shores venue with one time available. There will be three different times after the reception to get back to the hotel.

Question

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Answer

We will be serving a variety of Neapolitan pizzas, salads, meatballs, and poached salmon in a buffet style. The pizza is available gluten—and dairy-free as needed. When you RSVP on our site, there will be a section for you to specify dietary requirements and allergies. If you have any specific concerns or need to discuss your dietary needs further, feel free to contact us directly at 586-222-5438.

Question

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony. Post ceremony, feel free to snap away. We will have a special Dropbox and possible hashtag for you to share your pictures and videos.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, select the RSVP tab on our website and enter the name(s) provided on your invitation. Or, you can call Lia at 586-222-5438.

Question

When do I RSVP by?

Answer

We are thrilled to celebrate our special day with you! Please let us know if you will be joining us by RSVPing no later than April 30th, 2025.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We will have Valet service.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony start is at 5:00PM. The shuttle will tentatively leave at 4:10PM with a 4:30/40PM arrival. We please ask guests that are driving to arrive at 4:30PM to allow for Valet services. This will help us start the ceremony on time. *Please refer back to this page as times may change.
