ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We love the little creatures! Unfortunately due to factors beyond our control, we are unable to host your children at this time. We hope we will be able to find the time to celebrate with you and them in the near future.

WHAT ABOUT NATURAL DISASTERS? WHAT HAPPENS IF THE AIR QUALITY IS TERRIBLE? WHAT ABOUT COVID 19?

Answer

In light of the evolving Delta variant, and in consideration of everyone's safety, following suit with the many vaccine mandates that are popping up around our country for participation in social activities, we are now requiring that every adult attending our wedding in November be vaccinated. No exceptions. We hope this gives everyone peace of mind as you RSVP and make travel arrangements. We will monitor California's ongoing crises to the best of our abilities. Please stay tuned for updates. For now - we're all systems go!

NEVER BEEN TO A HOSTEL?

Answer

A hostel is a low-cost, short term accommodation for travelers. Our wedding will be hosted at the Marin Headlands Hostel, in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, just north of San Francisco. The Marin Headlands Hostel has just closed permenantly - we're very lucky to be able to use it for our wedding venue! We'll tell you all about that story some time, if you want to hear it! Until then, what you need to know is that it's a big building where lots of folks from far and near used to come and stay to enjoy the area. We hope you'll enjoy spending time there.

CAN I SPEND THE NIGHT?

Answer

The short answer is yes. If you're not sure what a hostel is, see above. The longer answer is this: Accommodations at the hostel are extremely limited and rustic, since the hostel is now mostly empty. We have a couple of private rooms left (mostly already booked by family members who will be traveling from many thousands of miles away). If you want to spend the night and don't mind sharing a room with someone you likely know, or you want to sleep in your luxury conversion van in the parking lot, or maybe you want to set up your tent in a big room where others might do the same - you're welcome to do so! We also welcome you to bring an air mattress or other gear to make your stay comfortable. It'll be like glamping. We all like David Bowie here, right?

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

Answer

We need you! Many hands make light work. We'll need people to help with setup and breakdown, and general hosting duties. If you're somewhat familiar with the neighborhood, let us know if you can help!
