Matchmaker
Nicole and I worked together a few years ago and quickly became close friends. Ian grew up with Nicole's husband. Nicole had been trying to get Ian and I to go out for a good 7 months before we finally agreed to go on a date with each other, and the rest is history! Nicole and her husband John are also the godparents of our daughter, Cecilia.
Bride
I refused to go on a date with Ian for months as I had no interest in dating for the longest time. I finally agreed to go on a date with him and was so nervous I almost didn't show up to that first date! And the rest is history.
Groom
Ian was reluctant to date again when Nicole first started trying to get him to ask me out. In December of 2017, he decided he was ready and messaged Nicole asking if I was still single, assuming that I was no longer on the market. He was very happy to discover that I wasn't seeing anyone.
Son
Our children are very important to us, so we've decided to forego a traditional wedding party and instead have our wedding party include our children only. Vincent is Ian's oldest child. He loves dinosaurs and playing video games and is a very social and friendly little boy.
daughter
Frankie as we call her, is Ian's second child. She is your typical girly girl, loves wearing dresses, cooking in her play kitchen, the color pink, kitties, and unicorns.
Son
Cameron is Amanda's oldest child. He loves Hot Wheels cars, trains, and construction vehicles.
daughter
Cece as we call her, is our first (and last!) child together. She's our tough little peanut, born 11 weeks early at 29 weeks 3 days. She spent 44 days in the NICU, and at a little over 3 months old spent 10 days in the PICU for a severe cold. It was tough having a preemie and spending so much time in the hospital, but we got through it together and it's made our relationship stronger.
