FAQs

The Wedding Website of Iain Kirschke and Genny Harris
We have arranged for parking across the street at 141 Blundell Hollow Road. Wedding guests should park on the grass along the fence line. For convenience, cars should back into their spot. There will be a parking sign out front. If you have any other questions, please feel free to text us! Iain: 405-880-2005, Genny: 804-592-7338
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Garden Party! For men, suits and ties are ideal. For women, colorful semi-formal dresses and jumpsuits are recommended! We will be outside- guests should expect to walk on grass, gravel, and mulch. A dressy pair of flats or block heels are a safe choice!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels/rentals to the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the rural location of our venue, we highly recommend renting a car/carpooling for our out-of-town guests. Rideshare options such as Uber and Lyft may be limited. If you run into issues, let us know! We have a lot of in-town family with cars!

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

A pizza food truck will be on site providing wood-fired sourdough pizza. We will also be preparing appetizers, sides, and desserts! If you have any specific dietary restrictions, please let us know via text!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We know that some of you have recently welcomed little ones, and we want to assure you they are absolutely invited to celebrate with us! Please note that the venue does not have extra accommodations for babies, so plan to bring any equipment (pack n' play, etc) that your child might need.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We intend for our wedding to be an intimate celebration, and due to venue capacity, we've reserved seats for invited guests only. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What's your rain plan?

Answer

We will move the reception and ceremony under our covered tent, but the bed and breakfast itself is still available for our use! We still recommend preparing for the weather, as May can be unpredictable!
