Adelphi University is small, but the world of AU athletes is even smaller. You'd think we would've met earlier than our Junior and Senior years of college...but that just wasn't the case. Timing is everything. Fate (or we like to believe our angels above), mixed with a little bit of liquid courage, finally led us to each other at the baseball team's Ugly Sweater Christmas party in 2018. Ed likes to point out that I was the one who went up to him, but that's not the most important detail. It's what we were wearing...me in my Spongebob shirt and Ed in his striped sweater, it was a match made in Bikini Bottom heaven (iykyk). All it took was a kiss, a 2 AM Cherry Valley sandwich, and an ice cream date a few days later, and the rest is history. Here we are now...planning our wedding after six amazing years together. The first few years of our relationship were filled with lots of baseball, new cities, cross-country road trips, long-distance FaceTimes, drives between NJ&NY, and more baseball. The last few years consisted of retiring from college & professional sports, growing families, traveling together, making unforgettable memories, and dreaming about our future. With life always changing, one constant over our time together was love and the sacrifices we were willing to make for it. We are so excited for this next chapter.
