We have a discount for Marriot owned hotels. Please see the "Travel" page for the room discount instructions with the code to use on their website when booking.
While we'd be honored to celebrate with all of your loved ones, only family and +1s included on the RSVP are welcome. Invitations will be sent by the end of March and RSVP responses will be collected by May 2026.
The attire is "Aloha Formal". For men, collared shirts, slacks, and closed toed shoes are appropriate- blazer optional. Men might choose an Aloha shirt (Jordan recommends Reyn Spooner or Kahala- his favorites). Women might choose to wear a dress or romper with wedges or flats. *Keep in mind- the ceremony is outside on grass; heels may not be the most comfortable option to walk the grounds. A chunkier heel or flats would fit the venue best.
July is typically very sunny and warm during the day (low 80s) and cools down into a comfortable temperature in the evening (low 70s). We have a ballroom as a back-up in case of unpredictable weather. The ceremony will be in a shady area, and we will catch the sunset during the reception with beach views. Sunglasses and sunscreen are highly recommended! If you get chilly easily, women may want to pack a light shawl for when the sun goes down. Or just warm up on the dance floor!
If you are staying for the weekend and find an accommodation nearby, you do not need a rental car. Hotels usually have a parking fee for cars, sometimes per day. Make sure to look before you book! If you do get a rental car, you will have flexibility to travel around the island if you extend your trip. There is a parking fee at the venue if you plan on driving, but you can always Uber instead.
Our favorite local foods are poke bowls, musubi, acai bowls, garlic shrimp plate (North Shore is famous for this), Ted's Bakery pies, portuguese sausage, and shaved ice! A couple of our favorite restaurants are Roys (butterfish and lava cake- YUM) and Monkeypod Kitchen (butternut squash gnocchi and delicious cocktails). A staple place you will see everywhere is Zippy's, known for their chilli and a good place to try the Loco Moco.
We know the effort that many of you are taking to travel to Hawaii for our wedding. Therefore, we want to spend as much time with guests as we can. We will plan on being on the island at least a week before and a week after the wedding to ensure we get quality time with you.
