There are many Airbnb and VRBO options, however, we recommend that you do research on that early since they do fill up around this time of year. Lodging arrangements depend entirely on what works best for you and your family, so no pressure from us to stay at any of these locations. If you are interested in looking for your own options, the areas that you would search are Ferndale CA, Fortuna CA, Eureka CA and Arcata CA, in that order from closest to furthest from the wedding.
There is an airport in Humboldt (ACV), but it is often very expensive and can be unreliable. If you can, we recommend that you drive because of cost and ease once you arrive.
