Amtrak

For our out-of-towners from Michigan, we recommend taking an Amtrak train to Union Station! You can easily get to The Midland Hotel From Union Station via a 7 minute walk (.3) miles or 5(ish) minute bus ride on any of the following CTA lines: 7 Harrison (Eastbound to Congress Plaza & Michigan) 37 Sedgwick (Northbound to Fullerton & Sheffield) 151 Sheridan (Northbound to Clark & Arthur Terminal) The bus fair is $2.25. They accept cash and tap to pay.

Flight

Chicago O'Hare International Airport

If you are flying into O'Hare, we recommend taking the CTA Blue Line Train straight from Terminal 3 to the Monroe Stop, which is a 5 min walk (.2) miles from the Midland Hotel Train fare is $5. Tickets can be purchased by the entrance or you can just to tap to pay at the turnstyles (which is much faster + easier!) If you'd like to take an Uber or Lyft, you can order one from the designated “Rideshare Pickup” areas on the Departures (upper) level of terminals 1, 2, or 3. Prices vary depending on the time of day but typically range from $30-$60.

Flight

Midway International Airport

If you are flying into Midway, we recommend taking the CTA Orange Line Train straight from the airport to the Quincy Stop, which is a 2 min walk (300 feet) from The Midland Hotel. Train fare is $2.50. Tickets can be purchased by the entrance or you can just to tap to pay at the turnstyles (which is much faster + easier!) If you'd like to take an Uber or Lyft, you can order one from the designated “Rideshare Pickup” area on the lower level (Arrivals / Baggage Claim level). Prices vary depending on the time of day but typically range from $30-$60.
