We’re getting married!

Jake and Courtney met working together at Pine Mountain Golf and Ski Resort in Iron Mountain, MI. Jake had just moved from Columbus, OH to become the General Manager of The Four Seasons Island Resort (Pine Mountains' sister property) in Pembine, WI. Courtney was a waitress at Pine Mountain when they first met. They happened to be working together for a banquet and without knowing who Jake was or what his role was, Courtney was instructing Jake on what to do. Everyone seemed shocked that she was talking to the General Manager of the resort that way, however, Courtney had no idea and Jake followed instructions. They continued to work together for some time, however, most of Jake's focus was spent on renovating the hotel and condos at Pine Mountain. After a brief period of time Courtney was moved up to assistant food and beverage manager at both resorts. It was then when the two of them started to work hand and hand together and got to know each other much more. After spending numerous hours on working to open The Four Seasons Island resort their loved started to blossom. A handful of months went by and Jake and Courtney took a trip to Milwaukee, WI and fell in love. They soon moved to Bay View into a one bedroom apartment and both took on careers in the hospitality industry. After almost a year of living in Milwaukee, they found out that they were expecting a daughter. Knowing that their family was growing, they decided to buy a home. Beyond their surprise they found the most perfect home in Bay View to begin the next chapter: parenthood! On July 19th, 2020 their lives changed forever as they welcomed their sweet daughter, Blair, into the world. It was love at first sight. Jake, Courtney and Blair went on their first family vacation to Hilton Head Island, SC. It was there that Jake proposed to Courtney during "family photos", while holding Blair on the beach, with the picture perfect sunset. She said "YES!"
