We're getting married!

Whitney and Kenny met in Tallahassee through a mutual friend. Whitney noticed Kenny’s tall knees right off the bat. It wasn’t until she stood up that she caught Kenny’s eye. I suppose you could say it was love at first height. They started dating two weeks later at his rock-star themed birthday party. Amazingly, his Ziggy Stardust costume didn’t scare her off.

The day started like any other Fall Saturday, with FSU football and Whitney and Kenny heading to a bar to watch the game. Around half time, Whitney looked over and saw her friend Susan walk in (Susan lives in Melbourne, so this was weird!) and quickly realized what was happening. Susan had a letter from Kenny saying he had been kidnapped and that Whitney had to follow a series of clues to get him back. The clues led Whitney and Susan to an Escape Room, the bar where Kenny first met Whitney, and then to the Capitol building where the last message put together letters from each clue to spell out D O A K. After a quick pit-stop at The Palace, Whitney and Susan arrived at Doak Campbell Stadium to find Kenny on the 50 yard line in a tuxedo. After the longest walk across the field ever, Kenny asked "Are you ready?" to which Whitney replied "No, but yes!" He got down on one knee and popped the question. Whitney said "YES!" and turned around to see her parents in the stands. It was the perfect day!
