Where is the Venue?

~"Second star to the right, and straight on till morning"~ Connor and I have found a beautiful private residence just outside of Frederick. The name is Bowling Brook Mansion and it is a gorgeous property that is ours for the day. We ask you to please come and be merry and treat this lovely home as it were our own with respect and dignity. What should we wear?

Answer

The dress code is black tie, so feel free to pull out your most elegant attire. We cannot wait to see everyone dressed to the nines!

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We have chosen to have our wedding as an Adult-Only celebration. We hope you understand and can join us for an evening of fun and festivities.

Can we bring a plus one?

Please check your invitation for specific details about plus-ones. We have limited the guest list to ensure we have enough space, so we appreciate your understanding.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 3:45pm EST. This will give you time to find parking, get settled, and be ready for the ceremony to start on time.

Will there be food served during the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! Our families are proud to have a love of food. We have found a wonderful local family owned catering team, Atlantic Caterer of Baltimore, to bring a delicious buffet spread. There will also be hors d'oeuvres served during cocktail hour to reignite everyone from all the sappy sweet nothings shared during the ceremony. We are confident you'll love all the food available which we carefully selected to cover all our guests! We hope you enjoy~

Will there be alcohol available at the wedding?

Answer

There is a beautiful bar in the mansion which will be Open to our guests for the evening. There will be beer, wine, and spirits available through the bar. All non-alcoholic drinks are served separate from the bar and will be available through the catering service. For those of you who prefer a pick-me-up, there will also be and coffee/tea bar to keep you warm and energized. We want you to let loose and enjoy your time but always be safe and responsible when party rockin in the house tonight.

Can we take Photos/Videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that everyone put away their phones and cameras during the ceremony. We want you to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us. Our photographers, Tyler Reith Photography, will capture all the special memories so you can relax and be part of the experience. No standing and no hand raising that may hinder or block the paid professional.

Can we take take Photos/Videos during the reception?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! Feel Free to capture the fun during the reception. Though please be mindful of the photographers as well since they will be partying it up with us for the duration of the evening. We encourage you to snap your own memories throughout the evening.

Question

Is smoking allowed on the property?

Answer

The mansion has designated smoking areas outside and around with ashtrays. Please be courteous and NOT throw your butts all willy nilly outside and use the proper receptacles.
