Huzaifa grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, where he also completed his undergraduate degree at Benedictine University. He then transitioned a little further north to attend the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. He will be graduating this year Insha'Allah. In his free time, he likes to play video games and is learning how to bake with Anbreen. His love of surprises always keeps Anbreen guessing as to what's next. Anbreen grew up in small town Indiana, but moved to Chicago to complete her undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago. She then completed her Master's in Architecture at the University of Notre Dame, and currently runs a small business comprising of custom calligraphy and handcrafted designs. Anbreen also enjoys baking for her family and friends, and is having fun teaching Huzaifa to bake as well. Anbreen has also shared her love of brunch, coffee, and of course ice cream with Huzaifa, which he has come to love as well. Anbreen and Huzaifa knew immediately that they were a perfect fit for each other, and on November 27, 2020, Alhamdulillah they had their Nikkah (religious ceremony). After the wedding, Anbreen and Huzaifa will be moving to Chicago, where Huzaifa will be completing his residency. They are eager to explore the city, share new experiences with each other, and eat as much brunch and ice cream as they can! Together with their families, Anbreen and Huzaifa are excited to celebrate with you all this June! Planning a COVID wedding has been an interesting experience, but they are looking forward to a safe and enjoyable evening, so don't forget your face masks!
