A 400-acre park along the Watchung Mountains with trails for hikers of all abilities. The main entrance to the park is on Eagle Rock Avenue and home to a large green, as well as the Essex County 9/11 Memorial and overlook with amazing views of the New York City Skyline. Next door is The Highlawn, an elegant restaurant with great views of Manhattan.

The zoo boasts a train and over 130 animals. Turtle Back Zoo takes its name from a rock formation on the mountains just east of the zoo. The Lenape Indians called this formation Turtle Back Rock because the pattern on the rocks looks like the back of a turtle.
Stop in for a burger, dish of ice cream, chocolates from the candy counter or sit in the booth where Tony shared an order of onion rings in the last scene of “The Sopranos.”
The Museum is home to a collection of photographs and artifacts that document Berra’s life.
