Loft Lucia: 7 N Carpenter St, Chicago, IL 60607 Loft Lucia is approximately 20 minutes from ORD or MDW airports by car. ORD is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by train to Loft Lucia. If you are coming by train, we recommend taking the Amtrak into Union Station. Loft Lucia is a 4 minute car ride, 10 minute bus ride or 18 minute walk. Rideshare is also an option while visiting the city of Chicago.

Flight

By Plane into ORD

To Get To Loft Lucia By Taxi/Rideshare (Easiest/Fastest): * Follow signs for "CTA Trains" or "Trains to City" to find the station from terminals 1, 2, 3. Taxis and rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are available, with Uber Black picking up at T5, but other rideshares might require the airport shuttle to T2 first. Taxi are also available. Be sure to check for matching plates. By CTA Train (Cheapest/Direct from ORD): * Take the Blue Line from O'Hare directly downtown (40-45 mins). Exit at Morgan (Green/Pink Lines) or UIC-Halsted (Blue Line) for easy access to Loft Lucia. Midway is also a great airport to fly into and ~25 minutes away from West Loop.

Train

By Train into Amtrak Union Station

To get to Loft Lucia from Chicago's Union Station, take the CTA 'L' trains (Green or Pink Line) from nearby Morgan Station or Blue Line from UIC-Halsted, or use a rideshare/taxi, as it's in the West Loop and easily accessible, with options like the Morgan stop being very close for Green/Pink Lines, or a short ride from UIC-Halsted on the Blue Line

If you prefer to come to see us in your car, you will find Loft Lucia located just off I90. There will be valet parking at the venue if you choose to take advantage. Our recommendation is to keep you car at your sleeping location and uber to the event if you plan on enjoying the bar.

We have a 2 day wedding block reserved for you under Hutchins-Aboosamra Wedding. Mike and Theresa will be staying at the Hoxton Thursday, 8/6/26- Saturday, 8/8/26. If you wish to stay a third night into Sunday, 8/9/26 that will be no problem and the hotel will accommodate. We kindly encourage everyone to book as soon as possible. Hotels tend to fill up quickly; it's summer time! Why Mike and T love the Hoxton: * The Hoxton is a 3 minute Uber ride or 12 minute walk in heals to Loft Lucia. * The Hoxton has 3 amazing restaurants & bars located inside and is also close to to Fulton market. * Theresa favorite restaurant in Chicago right now is Cabra! * If you decide to stay at the Hoxton you will have free entry into the Jazz Club (Lazy Bird) 9:30pm-1am Thursday - Saturday. If the Hoxton is not for you, there are plenty of other hotel options in the area. Recommendations include Hyatt House, Hampton Inn or Homewood Suits in West Loop. Theresa and Mike are also big fans for home rentals. See details below.

House Or Rental

AirBnB or VRBO

If you are coming with your family and need more space Mike and Theresa recommend booking an Airbnb or VRBO based on your preference. Recommended locations in the city: West Loop - Where most wedding festivities will take place. West Loop is very close to downtown so you can expect these Airbnb to be less spacious. Next option is Wicker Park. This is where Mike and T live and is ~10 min drive with traffic to West Loop. Still not enough space, don't you worry - check out Logan Square. Also close to Wicker Park and West Loop and should give you the most space. Loft Lucia will have valet parking but if you will be enjoying a cocktail we recommend taking an Uber or Taxi to all wedding events.
