"Finally!" - Everyone

Every great love story starts somewhere — ours just happened to begin on Tinder (Risky, we know). After a week of trading our best (and worst) pick-up lines, Dakota showed up for our first date sitting on the tailgate of his truck with flowers and a giant sign featuring one of those lines. If you ask me, that’s how you win a girl’s heart. We spent that day driving through the Malibu mountains, singing Luke Combs at the top of our lungs, and realizing how much fun we had just being ourselves together. My first impression? "That's a nice stache" His first impression? “Oh boy, I’m in trouble.” (Spoiler: he was right.) Dakota made the first move...on our second date.. and after holding hands for the first time, we were hooked.. A few months later, duty took him across the country and then overseas, so we braved long distance and a nine-month deployment. When he finally came home, I packed my bags, moved out to be with him and Ella-Mae, and we’ve been building our life together ever since. Fast forward: We've got three amazing kids, nine chickens, one lazy cat, a mortgage and — after all that — we're finally tying the knot. What started with pick-up lines, and a silly sign turned into the greatest adventure of our lives. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate our happily-ever-after with all of you.
