As many of you know, we exchanged our vows in a small ceremony on December 3, 2022. A special date to us, as it was our one year from becoming engaged to one another. We are so excited to continue the celebration in August with everyone! Hope to see you then as we dance the night away!

On December 3rd of 2021 it was surprisingly not snowing in New York. The entire week they had been planning to take a trail ride before it became too cold. Unbeknownst to Lauren, Nick had been planning such a trail ride for many weeks. Not able to wait any longer Nick saddled the horses. Lauren on Savannah and Nick on Bullet they set off through their pasture. On the first trip they took together they had a disposable camera, ever since it has been romantic joke between them, rarely leaving the house without one. Nick leading the ride, stopped the horses in a small nook took out the camera and asked for a smile. After the picture he rummaged through his pocket, pulled out a small black box and began to ramble off some words. With complete disbelief lauren couldn’t stop saying “you’re lying” “you’re joking” and began to sob. Simply couldn’t get off of the horse to say yes, but after a simple prompt from nick saying to get down here! She hopped off the horse, wrapped her arms around Nick and as we can all guess… said yes! Tears in their eyes, smiles going ear to ear, headed back to the barn… to begin this new journey and share the news!
