Nicholas and Madison's story began on a cool night in March of 2024 in the parking lot of their college. At the time, Nick and Madison knew of each other but had never officially met. But that all changed when Madison was sitting in her Jeep, ready to head home, and Nicholas walked by, spotted her, and decided the best possible way to introduce himself was with an overly enthusiastic wave and a huge grin. Surprisingly, despite her usually reserved nature, Madison laughed and stopped her car to say hello. They had their first real conversation, and neither could help but leave their small interaction beaming. Little did they know that unforgettable evening would change their lives forever. After that, Nicholas just knew he had to pursue Madison, and after some flirting and sweet-talking, he asked her out, and she said yes! Their first date was on May 3, 2024, at the NVBS spring play, the last college activity of the year. Somewhere between the laughter and time spent together, something special began to grow. That summer, they spent much of their time apart while Nicholas returned home to New Mexico. Long distance wasn’t easy, but it quickly showed them that what they had was real and that it was worth it. Somehow, even with the miles between them, they only grew closer. When Nicholas came back in the fall, he made it official and asked Madison to be his girlfriend on September 21, 2025. It wasn’t long before they fell in love and began to see clearly that God had brought them together for a reason. Since then, their relationship has been full of laughter, adventures, and plenty of sweet moments. More than anything, the couple has grown closer to each other and to God, and are so thankful for the way He brought their lives together. Then came Christmas Day 2025. Nicholas was ready to seal the deal and make it official between the two of them. Unbeknownst to Madison, he planned a beautiful surprise: a Christmas engagement! What better way to celebrate their favorite holiday than by proposing! Nicholas got on one knee, with a ringbox in hand, and asked Madison to marry him. Madison, through joyful tears, said yes! Nick and Madison are so thankful that God brought them together, and they can't wait to see what God has in store for their lives.
