Nick and Kristina's story began long before either of them realized it would become a love story. The two met in high school through their shared group of friends. For years, Nick and Kristina were inseparable—spending time together with friends, sharing countless laughs, and somehow managing to do almost everything together without officially dating. Looking back now, most of their friends and family would probably say they saw it coming long before either of them did. During 2020, they spent even more time together, gathering with friends at one another's homes and taking a memorable trip to Ocean City, Maryland. As their friendship continued to grow, friends and family repeatedly asked the question that seemed to be on everyone's mind: "What's going on with you two?" After several unofficial double dates and some encouragement from friends, one finally challenged Nick by saying, "Why don't you just ask Kristina out on a date?" He listened. On November 3, 2021, Nick took Kristina on their first official date at The Garden Grill in Smithtown. One date was all it took to realize that what had started as friendship was always meant to be something more. Since then, life has been one big adventure together. Whether they're trying a new restaurant, watching sports, traveling, spending time with family and friends, or simply sitting at home laughing about absolutely nothing, they've become best friends in every sense of the word. In August 2024, Nick and Kristina moved into their home together in Saint James. The following year, they traveled to Northern Ireland to celebrate the wedding of their friends, Morgan and Mateo. After the wedding festivities, they spent time exploring Ireland together. On September 26, 2025, while visiting the beautiful coastal town of Howth, Nick proposed overlooking the Irish Sea. It was an unforgettable moment in a setting that felt straight out of a movie—and somehow, after years of his jokes, Kristina still said yes. A few months later, in November 2025, they welcomed their Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Parker, into the family. He quickly became the most spoiled member of the household and has been keeping them on their toes ever since. They've successfully navigated friendship, dating, living together, international travel, and raising a puppy together. Surviving a Yankees fan and a Mets fan living under the same roof, however, may be their greatest accomplishment yet. At the center of everything, Nick and Kristina have always genuinely loved being together. They are best friends, partners in everything, and each other's biggest supporters. They feel incredibly fortunate to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the family and friends who have been part of their journey from the very beginning, and they cannot wait to create many more memories—and laughs—in the years ahead.
