Are car break ins common?

Car break ins can be common throughout the city. They tend to especially target rental cars and cars that have out of state license plates. We recommend to not leave anything in the car, and if storing stuff in the trunk do not access it before leaving your car. We also recommend using parking garages over street parking.

What is the weather like?

Answer

The Bay Area has many micro climates. We recommend dressing in layers. October is one of the hottest months in the area. Temperatures can be anywhere from 50s-high 90s.
