We eloped in the Woods!

Lorraine and Michael found one another on the 18th of June in the year 2021. Perhaps the Three Princes of Serendip were smiling down from above, or perhaps it was purely correlational circumstance that an online dating site's OLS algorithms (FYI: Hinge, NOT Tinder) had brought the perfect pair together. The pair immediately realized they were aligned in optimistic perspectives, listening and awareness capabilities, and a deep sense of adventure and affection. They continue to inspire, encourage, and support one another every day... and the sparks continue to fly. Michael proposed to Lorraine during a picnic at Ragged Point in the majestic Big Sur with Nalu and Lola as witnesses after a hike and make-shift sandwiches in the back of the SUV. With mussed up hair from the wind and a bit of earth under the fingernails, Lorraine had no hesitation in accepting the most beautiful ring on her finger. And oh boy, what a kiss that followed! The original plan was a micro-wedding in the Redwoods in August of 2023 with close family and friends. After months of hemming and hawing, the two decided it was so hard to leave certain loved ones out of the limited guest list. The pair decided to elope - with the blessing of the parents, of course! Although Michael and Lorraine chose to have the most intimate ceremony on Palomar Mountain, you all were on our minds and in our hearts.
