We (FINALLY) Got Married!

This story is years in the making. Sometimes life has the greatest way of working out… Patrick was in Jessica’s brother Brian’s class at Bishop Miege and her father, Ron was his baseball coach. Jessica knew of Patrick in high school because he was so cool (as told by Patrick). They both attended Kansas State University. Towards the end of college, after Patrick asked Brian permission, they started dating. Their first date was supposed to be fishing at Tuttle Creek. The lake was flooded and it was a disaster so they changed plans and went to the Little Grille only to find out it was also closed. They always had fun and remained friends but nothing transpired. *It appears at this time in life Patrick thought he was a little cooler than he was… Three months prior to their reconnection in 2018, Patrick told his best friend in front of an entire room of people that Jessica Huska was one of his biggest regrets and that she was the “one that got away”. So cheesy. Fast forward three months, Jessica asked Patrick to meet for a drink at Tom’s Town. Patrick got that text message and left his meeting quite abruptly (his client will back this story up). Patrick proceeded to tell Jessica he thought “that this could work”, a bold move for the first date, but it worked. She then asked Patrick to go on a date two days later. It was clear from the second date that the feelings were mutual and as Patrick predicted, this really would work, so they took things slow… *Patrick has since realized that he is not as cool as he thought and that he has out punted his coverage…
