Travel

We know many (or even most!) of you will be coming in from all over the US, Canada, and other worldly locales - so we've tried to give you some helpful information below! Travel TO Austin: For most of you, the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will be the one to fly in/out of. Traveling AROUND Austin: Austin isn't the most walkable city, especially in the hot afternoons, but it's still easy to get around. If renting a car isn't an option, there are several rideshare companies that will quickly get you to where you need! We'll update as we figure out other options. STAYING In Austin: There are A LOT of options for hotels and airbnbs. Given the variety of options and preferences, we won't be booking hotel blocks. Instead, we've suggested a range of hotel options in different locations.

Hotel

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Southwest

4424 South MoPac Expressway
Austin, TX 78735
 (512) 899-3000

This hotel is about as close to the wedding venue as you're going to get (approx. 10 min drive), but further from downtown. It is right on Barton Creek Wilderness Park - so if you're looking to spend the weekend exploring the outdoors, this could be a good option for you!

Hotel

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin SW - Sunset Valley

4892 US Hwy 290 West
Sunset Valley, TX 78735
 (512) 891-9500

Also close to the venue (10 min drive), and like the La Quinta, a more affordable option. It's also close to the greenbelt and nature adventures, but further away from downtown.

Hotel

Hyatt Regency Austin

208 Barton Springs Road
Austin, TX 78704
 (512) 477-1234

This is a nicer hotel in a great location right on the Colorado river just across the "Bat Bridge" from downtown. A perfect spot to see all that Austin has going on!

Hotel

Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown South Congress

300 South Congress Avenue
Austin, TX 78704
 (512) 469-9000

Right down the street from the Hyatt Regency. This is also on South Congress, right between downtown and south congress neighborhoods. Also a great location for seeing Austin for a little less than the Hyatt Regency.

Hotel

Extended Stay America Austin

507 South 1st Street
Austin, TX 78704
 (512) 476-1818

This is a more budget friendly option, but not as nice as the Hyatt Regency or Embassy Suites next door. However, you still get the great location, right between South Austin and downtown.

Hotel

Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown/Convention Center

500 North Interstate Highway 35
Austin, TX 78701
 (512) 480-8181

Another nicer hotel option that is convenient for exploring downtown Austin. This is the furthest hotel from the wedding venue but still a manageable 15-20 minute drive. It's also close to some new great restaurants in East Austin.

House Or Rental

AirBnB

There are a lot of great AirBnB options in Austin. Just keep in mind that the venue is in South-West Austin - so you may not want to go east or north of downtown to avoid a long trip to the wedding. But, being in/around downtown or in South Austin are both good options with different amenities! Also - although most places are probably cross-listed, you can try vrbo.com as an additional rental site option.
