Things To Do

Here are some additional activities to consider if you plan to extend your visit in Iceland beyond the wedding.

South Shore

Things we will share with you on our wedding day •Seljalandsfoss waterfall •Gljúfrabúi waterfall •Skógafoss waterfall •Reynisfjara black beach •Dyrhólaey peninsula

West Iceland

Reykjavik, Iceland

Snaefellsnes Peninsula

Djúpalónssandur: • One of the most beautiful black rock beaches in the country (or maybe the world!) Skarðsvík. A beautiful white sand cove

South East Iceland

Glacier Lagoon • The Glacier lagoon lies beneath the Vatnajökull glacier. Ice from the glacier breaks off into the lagoon, icebergs then float around, and because of the mix of sea water it has a beautiful blue color. Diamond Beach • Belonging to the greater Breidamerkursandur glacial plan, Icebergs from Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon wash up on this shore and are dramatically beautiful against the black sand beach. Fjarðárgljúfur • Beautiful dramatic canyon. You can be both on the canyon ledge and in it. The hike is about 20-30 minutes and would be considered a light hike.

North West Iceland

Hvítserkur: • Amazing rock formation in the ocean. It is a bit of a walk to get down to it (35 minutes walk one way) But if you are up for the adventure we highly suggest that. Kolugljúfur: • Not too far from Hvítserkur there is this amazing canyon which could be a good stop for photos or a picnic Borgarvirki: • This historical place has amazing views and is close to Hvítserkur as well.

For all the days along the way
