FAQs

Question

Add Photos From The Wedding!

Answer

Thanks for coming! Please add photos to https://knipsmig.com/rjuson9g

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this is a 21+ event.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you receive a plus one, they will be addressed explicitly on your invitation. Otherwise, we kindly ask that only the named people in the invitation be in attendance. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Probably not. The airport is ~15 miles away from the French Quarter and the Garden District, where the wedding venue is located. Ubers/Lyfts are plentiful and affordable in NOLA. Parking can be tough.

Question

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

Cold weather is sweeping through the country, including in NOLA. The Gulf makes NOLA weather a bit unpredictable. This week has highs in the mid 50s and lows hovering around 40 degrees. We recommend you bring a jacket. But we’ll have heaters at the reception and the dancing will keep us all warm!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want our guests to look their best! This is a formal attire event (black tie optional). Please no jeans, t-shirts, or khakis.

Question

Ceremony/Reception style?

Answer

We are having a traditional New Orleans-style cocktail reception. There will be no formal seated dinner or assigned seats. The vibe is Eat, Drink, Dance, REPEAT.

Question

Who should I contact with questions about the wedding?

Answer

For any questions before January 30, you can contact Alejandra at 510-323-3383 or Michael at 209-323-8807. You can direct any day of questions to our wedding planner, Kate, at (504) 288-4202.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a few hotel blocks set up at locations near the venue. That said, there are many hotels in the area. We recommend looking for hotels in the CBD (Central Business District), the Garden District, the Lower Garden District, the Warehouse District, or the French Quarter.
