We met our freshman year of college in a mutual friend's dorm room. We lost touch for a few years until a fate stepped in; unbeknownst to us, our roommates met online and went on a date in October of our junior year. That night, they reconnected us, and we planned a double date for Mexican and margs for the following week. We had so much fun on that date that we decided to meet for a second taco date a week later. A few tacos later, we were hooked on each other!

Nick planned the perfect Saturday together in Asheville, NC to pop the question. Asheville is one of our favorite places; we went to Asheville in March to brewery hop around town and celebrate Lauren's birthday. Nick planned a full day of activities, from shopping and sipping on wine in the Christmas village to touring the Biltmore (it was even all decked out for Christmas)! After the tour, Nick led Lauren up to the top of the lookout and asked her to marry him. She said "Of course!!" and the people around cheered! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See y'all in Greenville!
