March 8, 2019
In March, we decided to elope in Corning at Homestead Blessings. It was a chilly day, but stress-free and so perfect in many ways. We knew that we didn't want to wait to get married and wanted to share this private moment with just our children. We said our vows with birds chirping in the background and smiles plastered on our faces. Neither of us heard the birds during the ceremony, but they are quite loud when we went back and watched the video. We decided that was our loved ones looking down on our special day. We followed the ceremony with a lot of photos and an excellent dinner at Tony R's in Corning. Tony R's is across the street from the exact location that Jason proposed on December 15th.
To keep with the theme of not being "traditional", we decided that we still wanted to have a ceremony and reception to celebrate with our families and friends. We cannot wait to celebrate our love and new beginnings with all of you!
