How do I book my room?

Answer

Please visit the "Travel" page of our wedding website to book your room. On our Travel page, click the "View" button to go to the Excellence Resorts website. Once you're taken to the Excellence Resorts website, enter your check-in/check-out dates and click "Check Availability". All guests who are attending the wedding will be required to book a room (minimum: 3-night stay) with our group's promo code SHWMAY25XRC. After you select your room, you will be asked to enter your information. The form will ask about your hotel/flight arrival and departure times. You can choose any time and enter something like "I have not booked my flight yet" for your flight information. We will update this information after your flight is booked.

When should I book my room?

Answer

Rooms are subject to availability, so we recommend guests book their room as soon as their plans are confirmed. No deposit is required. Your card will be charged 30 days before your arrival date.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

What days are available to book under the promo code?

Answer

We have a block of rooms available Monday May 26, 2025 - Saturday May 31, 2025. All wedding guests are required to use the promo code SHWMAY25XRC when booking their room.

How many days should I plan to book a room?

Answer

It's completely up to you! We recommend that guests stay 4-5 days as there will be festivities the day before and after the wedding.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book the room?

Answer

No deposit is required at the time of booking. Your card will be charged 30 days before your arrival date.

What are the room rates under the promo code?

Answer

A single room (1 person) starts at $333/night A double room (2 people) starts at $444/night A triple room (3 people) starts at $654/night The prices above reflect a junior suite spa or pool view room. Guests can choose to book an upgraded room (e.g., ocean view, swim up suite, two-story rooftop) at a higher rate. Are flights included in the resort room package?

Answer

No, flights are not included. All guests must book their own flight.

Will there be transportation between the airport and resort in Cancun?

Answer

Yes, each room booking will be provided with a private shuttle (included with minimum 3-night stay). The shuttle will pick-up guests at the Cancun International Airport upon arrival. Guests will be transported back to the airport upon departure. The shuttles will be arranged closer to the wedding, after flights are booked. More details to come!

No, guests will be required to stay at the Excellence Riviera Cancun.

Are kids allowed at the resort?

Answer

No, Excellence Riviera Cancun is an adult-only resort.

Does the resort have a dress code?

Answer

Yes, certain restaurants at the resort have a casual dress code. For Ladies: Long pants, Capri pants, skirt and blouse, or dress. For Gentlemen: Shorts, Bermudas, Capri or long pants. Dress shirt, collarless shirt, or polo shirt. Sleeveless t-shirts, tank tops, beach sandals, or flip flops are not allowed at certain restaurants. Are the restaurants and bars free at the resort?

Answer

Yes! Excellence Riviera Cancun is an all inclusive resort. During your stay, you will not be charged at any of the restaurants, bars, or even room service. However, we do recommend bringing small bills to tip.
