Mall of America®
Super close by the airport, this would be a great stop for out-of-town guests if you have some extra time to kill. We love this place! Zoe's favorite stop inside is the Rainforest Cafe, and Luke loves the Lego store.
Walker Art Center
A Minneapolis must-see, the "Cherry on the Spoon" is in a FREE sculpture garden outside the Walker Art Center. Across the bridge there is Loring Park to explore as well. The museum inside, in Zoe's opinion, is not worth exploring, unless you are a lover of boundary-pushing modern art.
Aster Cafe
This charming cafe in Minneapolis has a fantastic atmosphere with live music in the evenings. You can follow up your meal with a walk along the Mississippi River.
Minneapolis Institute of Art
Zoe's favorite museum in Minneapolis! The art spans across time and space, and there are famous featured collections that cycle through as well.
Minnehaha Falls
Another Minneapolis adventure waiting to happen. Parking is available onsite. There is also a Metro Lightrail Blue Line, which runs all the way from Target Field to Mall of America.
Fort Snelling State Park
Nearby the Mall of America and Minnehaha Falls, this historic fort is such an amazing experience! Tour guides are costumed and the experience is super immersive. Great for kids.
Lake Harriet Bandshell Park
In Southwest Minneapolis, walk along a gorgeous lake bouncing with sailboats, and enjoy the sight of the gorgeous castle-like bandshell housing a restaurant cafe. There is a music and movies series at the bandshell, check out the schedule!
W. W. Mayo House
Nearby our wedding venue. A historic house with costumed guided tours available. Cost starts at $6 per adult.
Le Sueur River Park
