Kate Jordan

Matron of Honor

Kate is not just a friend, but part of the Booth family. Kate and Ash go all the way back to the halls of first grade. Sharing the same zodiac sign as their birthdays are only two days apart. Kate and Ash have grown up together - attending school together for 8 years, spending summers at Girl Scout camp, going on adventures from the beaches of New Jersey to the rides at Disney World. Kate and Ash have found a way to stay close even when they lived miles and miles away. Their moms even share the same Birthdate and they both have a brother named Tim. Ash already had the honor of being Kates MOH at her wedding in December of 2021. These two have always said they would be in each others' weddings so it was just a matter of time!

Kelsey Bryk

Maid of Hono(u)r

Since Kelsey is Canadian (eh?) she will refer to herself as the maid of honour, but we Americans spell it more efficiently as the maid of honor. Katie and Kelsey completed their PhDs in Biomechanics & Movement Sciences at the University of Delaware together. Day one they became instant best friends because misery loves company. Unanimously to the lab undergraduate students they became known as "Mom & Dad" because they were the bosses and inseparable. Together they have traveled to Costa Rica, Scotland, and Ireland with plenty more planned in the future. She was also one of the first people to meet Katie & Ash as a couple (in Ireland!), making their friendship that much more special. Kelsey has been a mentor/teacher, confidant, and great friend to Katie since day 1 despite being Canadian, eh? Together, they rely on one another to regularly ship each other Canadian snacks or goodies from Trader Joe's.

Rachel Sileo

Ash or "Booth" as everyone in high school called her, met Rachel in high school doing theatre and other after school activities together. They could be found causing chaos together in the halls, on their daily after-school walks to Dunkin and finding every excuse to not follow the rules. They partied at many school dances and proms together, too. Booth and Rach have remained close throughout the years. In 2017, they vacationed together in the Dominican Republic where they snorkeled through clear blue water, ziplined and took a ride on a pontoon boat to find starfish. Most recently, Rachel secured a job working at the same school as another close friend and bridesmaid of Booth, which only made their friendship closer as now they share another mutual friend. Rachel is getting married just 8 days before Booth, so there is lots of celebrating to do!

Claire Bethel

Katie met Claire in the summer of 2016 while she was a Master's student at Wake Forest and Claire was an undergraduate student, both studying Health and Exercise Science. Ironically, Claire reported to Katie while she was an honor's summer scholar under Dr. Stephen Messier, their mutual thesis advisors. Immediately they became best friends attending countless WFU events and nights out on 4th Street in Winston-Salem while Katie made fun of how allergic to dairy Claire was, only to subsequently become lactose intolerant in 2019. Claire and Katie have always visited each other across the years, even surprising Katie and Ash at Disney in 2020. When Claire has a blonde moment, Katie calls her Kilo (an ohmage to team Messier days), so Katie's dog is an indirect connection to Claire. Go Deacs!

Alexis Warnick

Two peas in a pod growing up together, Alexis and Ash are almost exactly three months apart in age. Their moms always talk about how crazy it was that they were pregnant at the same time. Alexis and Ash have luckily been able to spend nearly every birthday and holiday together as they lived nearby one another most of their young lives and continue to keep up the tradition even if travel is involved. Alexis and Ash have a big heart for when it comes to spending time with family and friends. Put them together with their brothers and you will be sure to laugh, this cousin crew is practically a comedy show.

Andreana Holowatyj

Katie and Andreana met at BenU where Andreana was roommates with Katie's basketball teammate, but also, they both were summer research scholars conducting mathematical research. This led to a bunch of road trips for conferences and making terrible math jokes. Even after Andreana's graduation and Katie's transfer to NIU they kept in touch with Andreana serving as a huge mentor to Katie with applications and advice for graduate school. While Katie completed her master's she even flew out to Detroit to watch Andreana become Dr. Holowatyj so it was equally as special when Andreana watched on Zoom for Katie to become Dr. Hunzinger! Together, they share countless memories, miles ran, shotgunned beers, and terrible science jokes. Andreana's Bab's is even a great step in grandmother to Katie :)

Lauren "Strawberry" Prisco

Lauren gets her nickname from Girl Scout camp - where she met Ash, better know to her as "Storm-e" or "Stormz". Although they have spent many years living some time apart, they always found ways to reconnect. They both share a love and passion for education and inclusion. They regularly enjoy long car phone calls together, keeping one another on their rotating call lists to catch up on the past few weeks. The often bounce ideas off of one another, an unbiased soundboard that is so appreciated. They never run out of things to talk about!

Eddie Tolle

Katie met Eddie in the Spring of 2013 when she transferred to Northern Illinois University and found their lives surprisingly entangled! Eddie and Katie were in Army R.O.T.C. together; in addition, Eddie's girlfriend (now wife), Marie, and best friend, Nikki, were both in all of Katie's Kinesiology classes. Eddie was an amazing friend, coming out to support Katie at her rugby matches and sharing beers and burgers at Fatty's every Sunday to watch Da Bears. After graduation Katie and Eddie have always kept in touch arranging visits, Skyping while he was deployed, sharing books with one another, making terrible puns (sorry Marie), and nerding out over Harry Potter. Katie was fortunate to be Eddie's Best Woman at his wedding in September of 2020 and she is so grateful to have him by her side.

Wayne Magee

Wayne and Booth met in high school and quickly became friends through a mutual friend group. They both were involved with Wayne's high school band, where Booth was part of the band front dance team. Wayne was also part of the band for all of Booth's high school theatre productions, so they spent a lot of time at practices together. These two are trouble makers - Wayne poured Booth's first ever beer (sorry Mom & Dad) and to be fair it was gross, but they have always been there for one another. Through heartbreaks, friendship fights and more. Wayne was even Booth's prom date to both the junior and senior proms!

Allie Siebold

Katie and Allie met at CrossFit Equity in the Summer of 2018 when Katie moved to Delaware. They pushed each other in work outs and slowly become closer friends through 4:30 workouts and gym outings. The return of Allie's future husband, Mike, from deployment to Kuwait grew Katie and Allie's relationship as they hung out together more and more outside the gym with the Marinara's, O'Hara's, and Graybeal/Deliman crew. Together they have gone on multiple camping and skiing trips and Flyers games making great memories with even greater friends. Allie was one of the first friends to meet Ash and immediately approved of her. Katie's favorite memory of Allie was watching her absolutely crush the Bull Ride at Xfinity Live! Ash is grateful for Allie because together they tolerate Katie and Mike.

Chris Siegman

Chris and Booth, share the same love for tormenting Wayne Magee. But seriously, their friendship grew from being at a lot of the same hangouts with mutual friends. Chris and Booth have formed a close bond over their shared humor and they go out of their way to check-in with one another now that they have busy adult schedules. Chris even shares a Valentine's birthday with Booth's mom! Booth is so thankful to have two additional "bros" as part of her life and could not imagine this day without them. They are her hype crew.

Mike Siebold

Katie and Mike are not allowed to go unsupervised if left alone; if found, please return to Ash Booth or Allie Siebold. Like Allie, Katie met Mike through CrossFit Equity in 2018 when he returned from his deployment. The two of them became inseparable bonding of deep fried memes, military dark humor, and craft beers. Unfortunately for Allie, Ash, and Kaiti Marinangeli their spouses (Mike, Katie, and John) are basically the same human--which is to say, children stuck in an adult's body. Aside from his great sense of humor, Mike has a big heart and has always been there for Katie and Ash, always willing to go to battle for us. Katie and Ash are so grateful for the friendship of the Siebolds and their extended local families.

Cory Amenta

Cory and Ash met at Temple University together, both attending Graduate school for Higher Education. The ultimate overachiever Cory went on to graduate early and as luck would have it they both wound up working at Rowan University together over a year later. Cory and Booth decided to try out a Crossfit gym together - the first day they got lost and went to the wrong location and showed up to the actual location late! (which was awkward and embarrassing!) They both shared many early mornings and late nights learning the ins and outs of lifting weights and despising long running workouts. Years later they continue to keep in touch and still commiserate over some of their Crossfit memories!

Ashley "Octavia" Taylor

Ashley, often called "Octavia" by our rugby team met Booth at Crossfit 643 in 2017. Booth and Octavia spent lots of time lifting things up and putting them down in the gym! They met a friend at Crossfit who happened to suggest playing for the south jersey women's rugby team. Octavia was really encouraging because she played before and they both headed to a practice together and have been friends ever since! Octavia had the best reaction to finding out Katie and Ash wanted her to be in the wedding, her support and love is deeply appreciated.

Laurel Baker

Laurel and Ash met playing rugby for the South Jersey Women's rugby team in 2018! Their friendship has blossomed in continuous shenanigans whenever they get together with their other close teammate - Octavia! This crew is always likely to be up to something! Their trio friendship now accepts Katie and Sheena into the mix as well - the obligatory ball and chains (;

Avery Warnick

Avery is the daughter of Ash's cousin, Jeff and his wife Laura Warnick. When Katie first met Avery she was greeted with the world's loudest scream and the two spent the entire day chasing each other around Avery's grandparents' backyard. The Booth and Warnick families are extremely tight knit and as a result Katie and Ash get to spend a least 1-2 days a month seeing their favorite little one. Avery is 6 going on 30, has an infectious smile, and is always down to dance or show off her latest gymnastic skills. On top of that she is a great big sister and cousin to ring bearers, Luke Warnick and Carter Booth.

Luke Warnick

Luke is the youngest child of Ash's cousin Jeff and wife Laura Warnick. He is also the younger brother of flower girl, Avery. Luke is the sweetest young man, loves his mom mom and pop pop, and idolizes his big sister. He is a ray of sunlight on a dark day and can tell you anything about Marvel and DC characters.

Carter Booth

Carter is Ash and Katie's nephew and only child of Jason Booth (Ash's brother) and Jenna Ledger-Booth. Katie and Ash were fortunate to have been there the day Carter was born and he has had them wrapped around his finger since then! Most recently, Katie and Ash were able to accompany Carter on their second Disney Trip together and it's safe to say, they are still equally as obsessed and in love with him as they were when he was born.

Danielle Booth Strong

The finest aged Booth sibling of the crew. Danielle and Ash grew up apart from one another but they have always kept in touch over the years, even if they were in very different places for most of their lives. Ash could not imagine her day without all four of her sibling crew.

Tim Booth

Ash and Tim grew up in different households but have stayed in touch over the years through various visits. Ash was even able to spend a few weeks with Tim and the rest of the family in Mississippi after her first year in college. Ash is so excited to have the whole Booth crew back together for this special occasion!

Jason Booth

Jason has known Ash since day 1 as they grew up together in the same household. Although their friendship did not come until their adult years, they spend a lot of time texting about their parents antics and sending funny memes back and forth to each other. They also both have a love for horror movies and get to exchange the various movies they watch from time to time! You can count on them for a good scary movie recommendation!

Danny Booth

"Danny Franny" is the last of the Booth siblings and most likely the wildest. Danny has been driving Ash crazy since the day he was born and he often calls her Mom #2. They are either the best of friends or the worst of enemies. They have been through a lot over the years but their sibling bond is strong.

Sarah Anderson

Sarah otherwise known as "Red" was the first friend to get a text about Ash meeting Katie for the first time. As one of the first mutual friends, it was only fitting to ask her to be the officiant. If you have a moment to ask Ash or Red how they became friends - find them and ask - it's a funny story!

Nathan Hunzinger

Katie has known Nathan since day 1! If you ask Nathan, Katie was born in hopes that their parents would get another angel. If you ask Katie, she was born because the first child was a mulligan (read: devil child). Nathan is Katie’s only, older, and much taller brother. Growing up they were either each other’s worst enemy or best friend with no in between. The two couldn’t be more opposite, yet they ironically both ended up working in education. Katie can always count on Nathan for a movie reference and Nathan can always run to Katie for IT support from afar.
