We met in 2009 in Palacios, TX, at a summer camp. The universe seemingly conspired to place both of us in line, eagerly waiting to ride a banana boat. It was there that Mia complimented Nathan's Converse. Coincidentally, or perhaps by fate, we both tumbled off the banana boat and found ourselves floating together in the bay. Fast forward 11 years, Mia visited Nathan's hometown and asked him to hang out. Nathan, in turn, invited Mia to a bonfire. In the subsequent weeks, after the bonfire, Nathan would make trips to College Station to further ignite the spark that had rekindled that memorable night. The weekly visits continued until Mia moved to Katy. On July 13th, 2020, Nathan asked Mia out on a date to explore Galveston together. After spending the entire day exploring the island, we found ourselves on the ferry at sunset. Nathan patiently waited for the perfect moment to ask Mia to be his girlfriend. As they both admired the dolphins leaping out of the water, Nathan felt it was the perfect time to ask Mia to be his girlfriend. With a kiss at sunset, the fairy tale began, and their adventures together have never ceased.
