FAQs

Question

Election Day is our travel day, what should we do!?

Answer

Please find out what your state rules are for early voting! Maryland opens October 28th!

Question

I don’t see any hotel room blocks listed, where should we stay?

Answer

We suggest Airbnb, any of the hotels listed, or anything in the Key West proper district!

Question

How do we get around a Key West? Drive, bike?

Answer

Ditch the car and rent a bike or a golf cart! We have done both and they are the best way to get around! Golf cart parking can be tricky, but you can park your bike just about anywhere!

Question

How do we get TO the ceremony

Answer

We suggest taking a cab or uber as there will be transportation from the ceremony to the reception. If you do drive a car to the ceremony, you will need to drive from the reception as cars cannot stay overnight at Ft Zachary State Park

Question

What are the rules for masks in Key West

Answer

At this time, masks are required in Key West. However, they are not required for group events. The chairs will be socially distanced at the ceremony and you are welcome to wear a mask if you want, but it will not be required.
