Bo and Allie met in Dulles Airport on July 18, 2021, Bo’s 30th birthday. Masks on and heading to Athens, they arrived early with time to spare. When Allie suggested a pre-flight snack and drink, Bo knew he’d found his travel buddy. What began as a ten-day trip through Greece filled with chicken souvlaki, pistachio ice cream, ancient theaters, and spontaneous games of hopscotch, quickly turned into something much more. Saying goodbye back at Dulles felt far too soon. Distance didn’t slow them down. Flights between Florida and Virginia became routine as they explored aquariums in Tampa Bay, apple orchards in Northern Virginia, and Christmas lights in St. Augustine. Before long, Allie accepted a job in Sarasota, and the two signed a lease, officially beginning life side by side (with Dakota of course!) Four years later, they found themselves back at Dulles once again, this time for a family trip and a detour to Shenandoah National Park. Welcomed by double rainbows and surrounded by lush greenery, mountain views, and a perfectly timed sunset, Bo asked a life-changing question. After an “oh wow,” a quick “wrong hand,” and an enthusiastic “of course,” the next adventure began. Bo and Allie can’t wait to continue traveling together, chasing views, sharing drinks, and doing life side by side as travel partners for life.
