We’re getting married!💕

Two weeks before Labor Day 2016, Ashley and Brett were deemed as compatible matches on EHarmony. Little did they know that EHarmony ultimately matched their soul mates. Brett and Ashley started talking back and forth through the messenger ap within EHarmony and one day Ashley got a strange message from Brett asking her if she worked in the building that she had currently worked in. She wasn’t sure if she should run far far away or take a chance. She decided to take a chance and it was the best decision she had ever made. Come to find out, Brett and Ashley actually worked in the same building and in the suite right next to each other. Good news to Ashley, Brett wasn’t a stalker! On Septmeber 8th, 2016, Brett and Ashley went on their first date together and fell in love quick!

In Septmeber 2018, Brett and Ashley decided to pretend they were avid backpackers and joined Bretts friends on an epic backpacking trip to Havausupai Falls. The trip solidified for Brett that Ashley was the one that he wanted to marry and it was during this trip that he decided he was going to propose. Ashley was just excited she didn’t die during the trip! From that point on, Brett started planning the engagement. He decided he would propose at their favorite date spot, ice skating on the beach at Hotel Del Coronado. Brett planned the whole thing and when it was time for them to put their skates on Brett got down on one knee and proposed to Ashley. After the proposal, Ashley saw her parents and Bretts parents through the crowd. Brett had planned for their parents to be there to watch the proposal and be there to witness such a special moment. Unbeknown, to Brett and Ashley, their friends were hiding out at the hotel and got to witness the whole thing as well!
